Computer/Web Based Training

Dr. Stork Software has worked extensively with Honeywell to help design and program computer based training courses to run over their corporate intranet.* This contract is on-going and entails not only creating CBT/WBT, but web site design, shooting and editing video, instructional design, and custom programming.

One of our current projects is creating a software tool that will help Honeywell employees create effective training based on sound Instructional Design principles.

One the best uses of CBT/WBT is for software simulation and we are experts at this. In addition to our years of work with Honeywell, we have also created a complete software simulation for Microsoft Office for nFocus.com, new hire order entry simulations for Allied Waste and ESD training for ACSS.*

But our experience is not just with the large corporations. One project we are most proud of is a project for Barker and Associates, a Scottsdale, AZ based executive consulting business. The owner, John Barker, specializes in strategic planning (among other things) and over the years had created his own strategic planning process called 3D Strategic Thinking.

The original 3D Strategic Thinking was paper based and John Barker called on Dr. Stork Software to adapt the training to a computer based training program. Working closely with Dr. Barker, we were able to create a highly-functional and successful computer based training course on CD-ROM for 3D Strategic Thinking and our efforts have been rewarded with brisk sales of the final commercial product.
